1. What does TAFE mean?
The acronym TAFE stands for Technical and Further Education. In Australia, TAFE institutions provide a wide range of predominantly vocational tertiary education courses, mostly qualifying courses under the National Training System/Australian Qualifications Framework/Australian Quality Training Framework.
2. When do courses start?
The courses have four admissions through the four terms during the year. You can start by enrolling in any of the Terms. Refer to the Prospectus or contact us for the calendar.

4. How do I enrol online?
Go to http://tafe.mckkrs.com and search for your course under Courses menu. Once you find the course you are interested in you will also see the 'Apply Now' link. Click on this to commence your online application. Fill in the form and submit the application. You will receive the acknowledgement email which will advise of the further procedures including payment of fees. Please download the Prospectus and understand step by step procedure for enrolment with time frame and fee structure.
5. What documents do I need to enrol?
You will need to upload or carry along for admission, the following documents:
- Evidence of English language ability
- Proof of identification (can include copy of Passport/Aadhar card/Voter ID card/DL)
- Academic Certificates in support of your qualifications
- Mark sheets or transcripts
- Digital copy of passport size photo (45mm x 35mm)
6. What is Moodle?
Moodle (Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment) is a learning management system or e-Learning platform that serves educators and learners across the globe. It is the most widely used LMS in the world. You can view your details, your units of competencies, upload your assessments tasks, view your assessments, and much more. You will be trained in using Moodle so that you can manage your studies at McKkr's TAFE Training in India.
